The Boomerang Law

The photo work is created in the genre of abstract photography, which conveys the idea of movement and transformation of the "energy" of actions, where the "energy" goes from the subject, transforms and returns to him. Looking at this artistic photograph, we can see a special author's creative technique, which shows the movement in two directions, either of substance, energy, or other mysterious matter, while in the opposite direction it becomes more.

We draw attention to the use of disproportionate colors and lines, abstract geometric shapes, outlined with labels that resemble road markings. They are highlighted by a dark and light colored background, reminiscent of a path, and rays in the form of red and white light, indicating forward and backward movement, and a single center of reflection, or energy return. Therefore, making associations with the depicted creative idea of the author, we can recall the proverb "What you sow, so shall you reap", "As you call, so will you respond", "What a greeting - such is the answer". This regularity was discovered since ancient times and was called the "Boomerang Law". It is the principle that our actions and deeds have a backlash and come back to us in the form of consequences. Through such associations, the author reminds us of the responsibility for one's actions, the need to control them, and the possibility of getting more of what one gives.

This work has been selected by the jury at the abstract art competition and became a participant in the 5th All-Ukrainian triennial of abstract art "ART-ACT 2022", which was held under the auspices of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
