Combining rhythmic elements, beautiful and exquisite patterns of exterior decoration of a house in Paris with an emotional charge of blue and yellow, I want to remind the viewer of the connection between Ukraine and France. Ukraine is recognized around the world by its blue and yellow flag and beautiful embroidered patterns and ornaments that were integral to ethnic Ukrainian clothing and traditional hand towels. I hint at them through a fragment of an exquisitely decorated facade, painted in shades of blue and yellow. Playing with the perspective of geometrically perfect figures of elements, I create new original ornaments. Combining them with the Ukrainian colors of the cloudless sky and fertile wheat fields, I make them one beautiful whole, and I find it very touching. This photo also tells the story of when Princess Anne of Kyiv, daughter of Grand Duke Yaroslav the Wise and Princess Ingigerda of Sweden, married the French king Henry I. The mother of King Philip I, she left her mark on history, uniting Ukraine and France. Therefore, the yellow and blue rhythmic elements with beautiful patterns remind me of her signatures on French royal documents.
